Jamaica: India has won the second match of the two-Test series against West Indies. In the match played at Jamaica's Sabina Maidan, India defeated the Host by a big margin of 275 runs. The hosts were under pressure on the second day after losing two wickets on a low score. By the end of the third day of the match, the West Indies had scored 45 runs in 13 overs losing 2 wickets. India looked close to victory. When the fourth day of Khal started on Monday, India needed a total of 8 wickets to win.

India took all the wickets of the West Indies team just ten overs before tea and won the match. The Indian team had also given a clean sweep to the host Caribbean team in T20 (3-0) and ODI series (2-0) earlier on this tour. Right-handed batsman Hanuma Vihari got the title of man of the match for hitting a century and a half-century in the second innings of this match. In this match, Hanuma Vihari scored a total of 164 runs. Earlier, Hanuma Vihari missed a century in the match.

The first innings of the Windies was destroyed by Jasprit Bumrah with his sharp bowling. Bumrah took three wickets in three consecutive balls and completed his first hat-trick in Test cricket. Bumrah completed his first hat-trick in Test cricket by luring Darren Bravo, Shamara Brooks and Roston Chase to the second, third and fourth balls of the eighth over of the Windies innings.
