Jamaica: India won the two-match Test series played between India and West Indies 2–0. The hosts had to face a tough defeat in both the matches. The batting of the host team failed badly. No player of the West Indies team could score a single century in this two-Test series. There was only one player who scored a half-century. The same thing can be gauged by how bad the conditions of the West Indies were on their home grounds.

This is the reason that India won both the matches of the Test series by a big margin. The name of the player who has scored a half-century for West Indies is Shamar Brooks. Shamarh Brooks has scored 50 runs in 119 balls with 9 fours in the last innings for the West Indies. It was the first half century of Brooks' test career. Earlier, West Indies' highest personal score in the series was 48, which was scored by Roston Chase in the first innings of the Antiga Test match.

If we talk about the Indian team, then Ajinkya Rahane scored a century in the first Test match. After this, in the second Test match, Hanuma Vihari scored a century. Even for India, Ishant Sharma had scored a half-century, but no batsman could score more than 50 runs for West Indies. Team India reached the top with this victory.
