Lucknow: In Corona crisis, India is celebrating 74th Independence Day today. On this occasion, PM Narendra Modi hoisted the flag on the Red Fort for the 7th time and addressed the countrymen. Celebration is being done all over India on today's historic day. UP CM Yogi Adityanath also hoisted the flag at Vidhan Bhavan at 9 am.

During this, Chief Minister Yogi also addressed. CM Yogi Adityanath said that on the occasion of 74th Independence Day, the organisation at Vidhan Bhavan, the ministers, officers, brothers and sisters of the state government present in this ceremony, hearty congratulations and best wishes to all of you on the occasion of 74th Independence Day. The CM said that under whose leadership there was a movement for independence. I pay a humble tribute to the brave soldiers of India like Sardar Patel, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Baba Saheb Dr. BR Ambedkar, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.

Further, Chief Minister Yogi said that today is a day of zeal and enthusiasm for all of us. We all know that on 15 August 1947, the country got independence as a result of countless sacrifices. On this occasion, I pay my respects to Mahatma Gandhi, a priest of truth and non-violence. I pay a humble tribute to all those soldiers who have been martyred for the defense of the country, in gratitude. The Chief Minister said that on this occasion, I pay my respectful tribute to all the soldiers of India who have sacrificed their lives to keep the independence of the country intact. CM has paid tribute to the martyr.
