New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi in his address from the ramparts of the Red Fort on Independence Day recalled the jawans who sacrificed everything in the freedom struggle. The Prime Minister remembered the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, Subhas Chandra Bose, and Bhagat Singh as well as Maharishi Aurobindo. Prime Minister Modi said that today is also the birth anniversary of Maharishi Aurobindo. Maharishi Aurobindo was the dreamer of India's bright future.
Prime Minister Modi said that Aurobindo used to speak we have to be as powerful as we have ever been before. We have to change our habits. He said Aurobindo used to speak we have to reawaken ourselves with a new heart. The PM said these words of Aurobindo bring us to the notice of our duties. We also have to think about what we are giving to society as citizens.
Prime Minister Modi also drew a blueprint from the 75th anniversary of independence to the centenary year, coming up with the lines of the poem 'This is the time, the right time.' The Prime Minister said that we have to join hands to achieve our goals from now on. We don't have any time to lose. We don't have to wait long to achieve our goal. He said that our India has to be changed and we have to change ourselves as citizens also. The Prime Minister also added 'Sabka Prayas' with 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas' and gave a new mantra.
