New Delhi: In a statement last Friday, the government said, "32 cases of omicron  form of coronavirus have been detected in India so far and mainly mild symptoms have been observed in all cases. In fact, recently, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has said that medically, omicron is not yet burdening the healthcare system, but vigilance has to be maintained. On the epidemic, the government says, "25 cases of omicron nature have been reported in India so far. The infection has been confirmed in 9 persons in Rajasthan, 3 in Gujarat, 17 in Maharashtra, 2 in Karnataka and one in Delhi. '

On the other hand, Health Ministry Joint Secretary Luv Agarwal said that so far patients infected with omicron form have mainly shown mild symptoms. Let me tell you all that the Government has also said that the World Health Organization (WHO) has underlined that with the increase in vaccination rate, compliance with public health and social measures globally is declining. Another official said that the government has so far not received any recommendation from the National Technical Advisory Group (NTAGI) on vaccination for vaccinating children against Covid-19.

The weekly transition rate of Covid-19 in 19 districts of the country is between 5 and 10 per cent, while in 8 districts of three States, the rate is more than 10 per cent.
