India bags 15th Gold in Junior Shooting World Cup Olympia

On the last day of the World Cup Junior Shooting Championship in Germany, India finished the top spot in 61-nation tournament with eight medals, including five gold. Born in Mohammedpur Khuddalia in Uttar Pradesh's Hamirpur district, and presently Satishendra, who resided in Greater Noida West, together with Jignesh Dahiya and Tanu Rawal, gave India 15th gold medal in 25m standard pistol team event. India won a total of 26 medals in this tournament, including 15 gold, two silver and nine bronze medals.

On Thursday, India won gold in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team Competition, 25m Standard Pistol Men's Junior Singles and Team, 25m Standard Women's Junior Singles and Team. In addition, bronze medal in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team Competition, silver medal in the 25m standard pistol junior men's event, junior women team event.

Thursday's attraction was India's first and second place in the 10m air pistol mixed team event. Devanshi Rana and Saurabh Chaudhary made the gold medal of the event on their name. Manu Bhake and Anmol Jain got the silver medal. In this World Cup, India defeated China, which was at the top of the first World Cup in Sydney this year. In this tournament, India's players have also named five junior world records.
