English media and fans were not too pleased with how their team fared against India. Eoin Morgan's side England received another embarrassing 8-wicket defeat in Nottingham on Thursday in the first of three ODIs.

From Indian side the hero of the match was Kuldeep Yadav  who caught career-best figures of 6 for 25. The match soon turned in the favor of India when Kohali brought Kuldeep Yadav  in the 11th over. He caught three wickets in successive overs, to destroy top order.

Apart from Yadav Rohit Sharma's roasting ton(an unbeaten 137 off just 82 balls) helped India to receive  the victory with nearly 10 overs remaining.

Captain Virat Kohli scored 75 runs. The Kohli-Rohit partnership added 177 runs in 25.1 overs.

India chased the target of 269 runs in only 40.1 overs.

The world's No. 1 ODI team may face a firm challenge against the World No.2  India in the left 2 matches. Men in Blue side would go down with ten overs still left to play

Team India now will move to London for the second ODI of the series with a 1-0 lead in a three-match series that continues on Saturday.
