New Delhi: Tensions on the Ladakh border between India and China have not been completely reduced so far. China is engaged in increasing the movement on the border and India is keeping an eye on it. China did not like it when the Indian Army increased its presence in the South Bank area in the Pangong bank.

It intensified the agitation on the North Bank, but they could not succeed in any kind of move. Between September 7-8, the Indian Army has now stepped up its presence from South Bank to North Bank. The People's Liberation Army (PLA) of China tried unsuccessfully to infiltrate Indian positions in several areas, and there have been reports of some warning shots being fired to prevent them. Sources said the skirmish and infiltration attempt between 29th and 31st August have taken place at the southern end of the Pangong Lake. At that time, the Indian Army did not let China infiltrate.

The tense situation has been continuing since May, but the firing incident in the last week of August has worsened the atmosphere. Rajnath Singh had spoken on the whole issue in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.
