Army and ITBP are ready in China border area adjoining Chamoli near Uttarakhand. In view of the tension in Ladakh, a large number of army personnel had moved into the border area two weeks ago. On Tuesday night, some army vehicles were seen coming from Malari towards Joshimath. The movement of army is also normal in the area which can be estimated that everything is fine on the border.

SDM Joshimath Anil Chanyal has said that everything is normal in the border area. Neither the movement of the local people has been stopped by the ITBP nor there has been any talk about sending back the sheep shepherds who have reached the Bugyalas. After the violent clash with the Chinese army in the Galwan Valley of Ladakh, security has been increased in the range of eight km from Nabhidhang to Lipupas of China border in Pithoragarh.

Along with the ITBP, the Indian Army has also started patrolling in this area. However, there is no tension here. India Nepal border is also on high alert. However, there is already intensive patrolling on the border. Note that since Tuesday morning, the SSB has increased surveillance around the border pillars. The vigil has been increased hereafter the disappearance of Pilar on the Bihar border and the killing of Indian soldiers in a clash with China.
