The Union Government with focused strategy and proactive as well as accurate measures along the states and Union Territories, the country upholds the position of being the country with one of the lowest cases per million population and deaths per million population. 
The global figure for cases/million is 5,552, India is recording 5,790. The countries including USA, Brazil, France, UK, Russia, and South Africa are reporting more than that of India.

The deaths per million in India is 87 much lower than that of world is 148. The strategies in COVID-19 management and appropriate public health response over the last several months have resulted in positive  outcomes. India has conducted 10,66,786 tests in the last 24 hours, and the total number of tests conducted has crossed 10.5 Cr (10,54,87,680) which is one of the highest in the world. The higher recoveries and lower fatality rate, India with 1.50% is possible by early identification by the widespread testing and timely effective treatment. 

After over 3 months, less than 40k COVID cases reported in single day across country

The active cases decreasing steadily, 7.64% of the total positive cases are active numbers to 6,10,803 and the nations total recovery is 72,59,509. Last 24 hours 43,893 new cases were reported, 58,439 recoveries were registered, 508 fatalities have been reported, Maharashtra with a maximum of 115 deaths.
