New Delhi: The pace of corona infection in the country has been putting a brake on the pace of the past several days, but the death toll from the epidemic is not going to stop. Less than 2.5 lakh new corona cases have been registered in the country for the second consecutive day. Which are the lowest new cases in a day in the month of May so far. More than 4454 corona patients have succumbed to their injuries in the last 24 hours.
According to the Union Health Ministry, more than 2.22 lakh new corona cases have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours, while 4454 corona corona patients have lost their lives. However, the good thing is that the recovery rate has also been increasing over the past few days as compared to the positivity rate. In the last one day, 3,02,544 corona patients have recovered and discharged from the hospital.
New corona cases are declining in the country's capital Delhi and Maharashtra. Maharashtra has registered 26,672 new cases in 24 hours. However, 594 patients have also lost their lives. The recovery rate in Maharashtra has also increased, which has now exceeded 92 per cent. Not only Maharashtra but Also Delhi has seen a sharp decline in fresh cases. Delhi has registered 1,649 corona cases in the past one day, while 189 patients have lost their lives. Up has also seen a decline in cases which recorded 4,844.
