New Delhi: The coronavirus has become uncontrolled in the country and the new wave has emerged as the biggest challenge. For the first time in the country, more than one lakh coronavirus cases have been registered within 24 hours. On Monday, 1.03 lakh cases of Coronavirus have been registered in India. This figure is according to the data released by the states, the data of the Union Health Ministry is yet to come. Earlier in the country, the maximum number of cases were registered on September 16, 2020, then 97,894 cases were filed in one day. 

Corona's case records are growing rapidly in Maharashtra. In the last 24 hours, more than 57 thousand cases of the corona were reported in Maharashtra and 222 people died. According to the data, 57,074 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in Maharashtra on Sunday, which is the highest figure in the state in any one day. A total of 30,10,597 cases of infection have been registered so far in Maharashtra, while the total death toll has risen to 55,878.

A maximum number of 11,206 new cases were reported in Mumbai city on a single day of Corona on Sunday. Currently, 4,30,503 patients of Corona in Maharashtra are undergoing treatment. At the same time, on Sunday, 27,508 patients were discharged from the hospital after becoming infection-free, with which a total of 25,22,823 patients have become healthy.
