New Delhi: India has registered 26,727 new cases of coronavirus infection, taking the total number of corona infection patients in the country to 3,37,66,707. While the total number of deaths due to infection has gone up to 4,48,339 after the death of 277 patients during this period. The Union Health Ministry has informed that active cases of coronavirus in the country have now come down to 2.75 lakh.

The Health Ministry has informed that in the last 24 hours, 28,246 people have also recovered from infection across the country, taking the number of people recovering from corona to 3,30,43,144 so far. On the other hand, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) reported that 15,20,899 samples for coronavirus were tested in India on Thursday, taking the number of sample testing in the country to 57,04,77,338.

Let me tell you that out of 26,727 new cases of coronavirus infection and 277 deaths in the last 24 hours, 15,914 new cases have been registered in the country from Kerala alone, as well as 122 deaths due to infection in Kerala.
