New Delhi: New cases of corona infection in India have shown a marginal decline in the last 24 hours. According to the Health Ministry, 3 lakh 23 thousand 144 new corona cases have been registered in the country in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, 2771 people have also died of corona during the same period. With this, the death toll due to corona in the country has now increased to 1 lakh 97 thousand 894. According to the Health Ministry, 2 lakh 51 thousand 827 people have also been discharged from hospitals in the country in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases is now 28 lakh 82 thousand 204.

According to the Health Ministry, a total of 176 lakh 36 thousand 307 people have been infected with corona in the country so far. 1 crore 45 lakh 56 thousand 209 people have also recovered. So far, 14.52 crore 71 thousand 186 people have been vaccinated against corona in the country. In Maharashtra, Maharashtra is again facing the highest number of corona cases in the country. However, Monday was a somewhat relief for the state. Maharashtra registers 48,700 new cases of coronavirus infection. At the same time, 524 people died of corona during the same period.

A total of 65,284 people have died of corona in Maharashtra so far. Maharashtra had reported 43,183 cases of lowest infection on April 1 this month, compared to 47,827 new cases on April 2. Daily cases have been declining in the last one week.
