New Delhi: The corona outbreak in India continues and the daily death toll is now rising rapidly. Record cases have also been registered in India on Thursday. In the last 24 hours, 3.79 lakh cases have been reported in the country, while 3645 people have lost their lives. This is an all-time record in cases and deaths. Statistics are testimony to how fast the corona havoc is growing in the country. More than 3 lakh cases have been registered daily in the country for the past 10 days, which is a matter of concern.

At the same time, the death toll has now crossed 3,000, the third consecutive day when more than 3,000 deaths have been recorded in the country. The number of active cases in India has also crossed 30 lakh.  In many states, the situation seems to be worsening due to corona, with Maharashtra and Delhi having the biggest impact. Maharashtra again recorded more than 60,000 cases the previous day, while nearly 1000 deaths were recorded, a record. On the other hand, when it comes to Delhi, more than 350 deaths are now being recorded every day, while the positivity rate remains above 30 per cent.

On the one hand, the outbreak of corona is increasing in the country, so now the expectation from vaccination is tied. The new immunization phase begins on May 1, with all people over the age of 18 vaccinated. If there is mass vaccination, the corona may slow down a bit.
