New Delhi: More than 6.24 crore doses of anti-corona vaccine have been given in the country. 12,94,979 doses were applied on Tuesday itself. This information has been given by the Union Ministry of Health. According to the provisional report of the Union Health Ministry, 6 crores 24 lakh 8 thousand 333 doses of corona vaccine have been given till 7 pm on Tuesday evening.
According to the report, 82 lakh 07 health workers have been given the first dose of vaccine, while 52 lakh 7 thousand 368 health workers have been given the second dose of vaccine. Similarly, the first dose of vaccine has been given to 90,08,905 personnel of the frontline, while 37,70,603 personnel of the frontline have been given the second dose of vaccine. 2,90,20,989 people over the age of 60 have been given the first dose of the anti-corona vaccine. The second dose of vaccine has been given to 36,899 people in this age group.
The ministry has reported that 71,58,657 people aged 45–60 years of age with severe illnesses have been given the first vaccine dose and 4905 people in this category have been given the second dose of the vaccine. The ministry said that up to seven o'clock on Tuesday evening, 12,94,979 vaccine doses have been given. It is the 74th day of the commencement of the nationwide vaccination campaign, which began on 16 January. According to the provisional report till 7 pm, 11,77,160 beneficiaries of these have been given the first dose of vaccine, while 1,17,819 have been given the second dose of vaccine.
