New Delhi: The deadly coronavirus is not yet in the country. There are still a large number of new cases of coronavirus. In the last 24 hours, 16,311 new corona cases are being registered in the country. At the same time, 161 people have died. Two lakh 22 thousand 526 people are now undergoing treatment in the country.

According to the latest data released by the Health Ministry, 19,299 patients have recovered from corona in the country on the last day, after which the figure of people recovering from the disease in the country has reached 192 thousand 595. So far, 14 lakh 66 thousand 595 cases have been registered in the country, out of which one lakh 51 thousand 160 people have died. It is noteworthy that the recovery rate in the country is 96.41 percent, while the death rate is 1.45 percent.

Maharashtra remains the most affected state of Corona in the country with nearly 20 lakh cases. A total of 18,17,55,831 sample tests have been conducted for coronavirus in India till yesterday (January 10), out of which 6,59,209 samples were tested yesterday, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) reported.
