India reports 38,353 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours

New Delhi: New corona cases were once again recorded in the country at more than 30,000. According to a health ministry report, 38,353 new corona cases have been registered in the last 24 hours. With new cases, there are currently 3,86,351 active cases, the lowest in 140 days. The report said that the recovery rate of patients has increased to 97.45 percent.

The vaccination drive is also being accelerated in view of the possible third wave. States and Union Territories have so far been provided with more than 53.24 crores (53,24,44,960) vaccine doses and 72,40,250 more are in the Dose pipeline. According to data available at 8 a.m. today, a total of 51,56,11,035 doses have been consumed, including vestige. At the same time, more than 2.25 crore (2,25,03,900) remaining and unused COVID vaccine doses are still available with states/UTs and private hospitals.

On August 10, 28,204 new corona cases were registered. Within 24 hours, 373 people lost their lives due to the disease. With these new cases, 41,511 patients were cured in the last 24 hours. The testing process is also being expedited in the states. According to the report, samples of 48,50,56,507 people have been tested across the country as of August 10. While 17,77,962 people have been tested corona in the last 24 hours on August 10 i.e. Tuesday.
