New Delhi: The coronavirus has now slowed down in the country. In the first day, where more than 90,000 positive cases were reported in a day, 30,000 cases are now being registered. However, the risk of coronavirus has not yet been completely eliminated. So far, the number of corona infected in the country has crossed 98 lakh.

The relief news is that for the past 13 days, less than 40,000 coronavirus cases have been reported in the country continuously. 30,006 new cases have been registered in the country during the last 24 hours. In the meantime, 442 people have lost their lives in the grip of the corona. During the past 24 hours, 33,494 people have recovered from the corona. According to health ministry data, the total cases of coronavirus in the country have now risen to 98 lakh 26 thousand. A total of 1 lakh 42 thousand 628 people have lost their lives due to corona. Now, there are three lakh 60 thousand active cases left in the country. More than 93 lakh 24 thousand people have beaten corona so far and have returned home healthy.

According to ICMR data, a total of 152.6 million people have been tested in the country so far. During the last 24 hours, 10.65 lakh people have been screened for corona. The positive rate in the country is now seven per cent. The number of active cases in 26 states and union territories of the country is currently less than 20,000. There are more than 20,000 active cases in 9 states.
