New Delhi: The total number of coronavirus patients in the country has crossed 74 million. As the corona recovery rate increases rapidly in the country, the number of active cases is steadily decreasing. According to the Union Health Ministry, so far 65 lakh infected patients have recovered from beating Corona. The rate of those recovering from corona has been 88%.
The number of active cases of corona in India is less than 80 thousand. According to data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, more than 74 lakh cases of corona have been reported in the country, out of which more than 65 lakh patients have recovered. While a total of 1,14,031 people have lost their lives due to corona.
The Health Ministry said that India has increased its corona testing capacity from one in January to more than 9.32 crore at present. There has been a steady decline in positivity rate due to high testing. The positive rate has come down to 8%. According to the Union Health Ministry, 61,871 new cases of corona have been registered in India in the last 24 hours. While 1033 patients have died.
