New Delhi: The number of corona infected patients in India is steadily increasing. According to the latest data from the Health Ministry, 96,424 new corona cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. On Thursday, 1174 patients died, the number of dead has increased to 84,372. Cases of infection have increased to 52,14,678 in the country, out of which 10,17,754 people are undergoing treatment and 41,12,552 people have recovered from the disease after treatment.

According to data released by ICMR, a total of 6,15,72,343 samples were tested across the country as of September 17, of which 10,06,615 samples were tested on a single day on Thursday. It is a matter of relief that a steady decline in the rate of mortality and active cases is being recorded. The death rate has dropped to 1.62 percent. Apart from this, the rate of active cases whose treatment is continuing has also come down to 20 percent. With this, the recovery rate ie the recovery rate has been 79 percent. The recovery rate in India is continuously increasing.

Across the world, the speed of corona infection cases has increased once again. More than three lakh new cases have come in the world for the second consecutive day. The death toll due to Corona has reached beyond nine and a half million. In the last 24 hours, 3 lakh 6 thousand new cases have been registered in the world and 5 thousand 432 people have died. It is a matter of relief that more than two crore 20 lakh people have been cured.
