New Delhi: The deadly coronavirus wreaking havoc all around the globe. The number of corona-infected patients has reached 90.50 lakhs in the country, while the number of people recovering from corona has increased to 84.78 lakhs, bringing the recovery rate of people to 93.67%. The Union Health Ministry has released these figures on Saturday.

According to the data released at 8 o'clock on Saturday morning, 46,232 new cases of corona infection have been registered in the country in the last 24 hours, after which the total number of infected people has increased to 90,50,597. According to the data released by the ministry, 564 more people have died in the last 24 hours due to Coronavirus, which has increased the number of deaths to 1,32,726.

According to statistics, today, for the 11th consecutive day, the number of active cases in the country is less than five lakhs. In the country, the treatment of 4,39,747 patients is being done in hospitals, which is 4.86% of the total number of infected patients. According to the data, after successful treatment, the number of people getting infection-free in the country has been 84,78,124. The national rate of recovery of patients has been 93.67%, while the death rate is 1.47%.
