New Delhi: Corona cases have crossed 4 lakh 40 thousand in the country. According to the update released by the Health Ministry on Tuesday morning, the total number of corona patients in the country has increased to 4 lakh 40 thousand 215. In this, 14 thousand 11 people have lost their lives. More than 2 lakh 48 thousand people have become healthy, while the number of active cases is 1 lakh 78 thousand 14.
Within the last 24 hours, 14 thousand 933 new cases of corona have been reported and 312 people have lost their lives. Corona is most affected by Maharashtra, where the total number of patients has increased to 1 lakh 35 thousand 796, in which 6283 people have lost their lives. So far, more than 67 thousand people have been cured, while more than 61 thousand are active cases. The total number of corona patients in Delhi has crossed 62 thousand. 2233 people have died due to this disease. More than 36 thousand patients have become healthy. At present, the number of active cases is 23 thousand 820. In Tamil Nadu also the total number of patients has crossed 62 thousand, in which 794 people have lost their lives.
The total number of patients in Gujarat is 27 thousand 825, in which 1684 people have lost their lives. The present number of active cases in Gujarat is 6232. The total number of patients in Uttar Pradesh has increased to 18 thousand 322, in which 569 people have died. The number of active cases in the state is 6152.
