91,000 new cases of COVID19 reported in India in last 24 hours

New Delhi: The number of patients recovering from corona has increased over the past six days in the country. However, more than a thousand people have lost their lives in the country for the 22nd consecutive day. So far, 91,000 people infected with the corona have died. In the last 24 hours, 86,508 new corona cases have been registered and 1,129 people have died in the country.

More than 1000 people have died in the country since September 2. The good news is that 87,374 patients have also recovered in 24 hours. According to the latest health ministry data, the total number of corona infected in the country has now gone up to 57.32 lakh. Of these, 91,149 people have lost their lives. The number of active cases has come down to 9 lakh 66 thousand and 46 lakh 74 thousand people have been recovered. The number of people who have recovered is almost four times higher than the number of active cases of infection.

According to ICMR, a total of 674 lakh samples of coronavirus have been tested till September 23, out of which 11 lakh 56 thousand samples have been tested yesterday. It is a matter of relief that the mortality rate and the rate of active cases are continuously declining. The mortality rate has dropped to 1.58%. In addition, the rate of active cases which are undergoing treatment has also come down to 17%. The recovery rate has gone up to 81%.
