New Delhi: The pace of the corona epidemic in the country has once again become uncontrollable. In the last 24 hours, more than 53 thousand new cases of coronavirus have been registered in the country. After about five months, the figure of 50 thousand corona cases has been crossed in India, which is frightening. According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, 53,476 new cases have been registered in the country in the last 24 hours. While 251 people have died. Also, 26490 people have recovered by defeating the Coronavirus. 

With these figures, the total number of corona cases in the country has reached 1,17,87,534. While the number of active cases has increased to 3,95,192. So far 1,60,692 people have died due to Coronavirus in India. If you look at the vaccination, then in the country 5,31,45,709 vaccine doses have been given so far. The most frightening situation in the country has come from Maharashtra, where there have been more than 31 thousand corona case records in the last day.

At the same time, new cases of coronavirus coming in Maharashtra every day are breaking their own old records. This is the reason that the entire lockdown has been imposed in many cities of the state. Now the number of active cases in Maharashtra has also increased to 2.5 lakh, which is more than half of the statistics of the whole country.
