New Delhi: Corona outbreak in the country is increasing continuously. According to the latest data released by the Union Health Ministry, 48,661 new cases of corona have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours and 705 people have died. The total number of corona infections in the country has increased to 13,85,522. There are 4,67,882 active cases and 8,85,577 people have been discharged from hospital after treatment.

32,063 people have lost their lives due to Corona in the country. Corona figures coming out from various states of the country are quite worrisome. So far, 3,66,368 cases of Corona have been registered in Maharashtra. Maharashtra ranks first among the Corona affected states. There are 1,45,481 active cases of corona in the state. So far 2,07,194 people have been discharged from hospital after recovering and 13,389 people have lost their lives.

Tamil Nadu ranks second among Corona-affected states. So far 2,06,737 cases of corona have been reported in Tamil Nadu. There are 52,273 active cases in the state and 1,51,055 people have been discharged from hospital after treatment. So far 3,409 people have lost their lives. The country's capital Delhi is third in this case. The total number of corona cases in Delhi has increased to 1,29,531, of which 12,657 are active cases and 1,13,068 have been discharged. So far, 3,806 people have been killed from Corona.
