New Delhi: The second wave of the corona epidemic has knocked. Corona cases are increasing rapidly in the whole country once again. More than 62 thousand corona cases have been recorded for the first time after 161 days. According to the latest report of the Health Ministry, 62,258 new corona cases have been reported in the last 24 hours and 291 people have died. However, 30,386 people have also recovered from Corona. Earlier, on October 16, 2020, 62,212 corona cases were reported.

There was a time when the number of corona cases in the country started decreasing. On February 1 this year, 8,635 new Corona cases were reported. This number of corona cases in one day is the lowest this year. Corona vaccination campaign started in the country on 16 January. A total of five crores 81 lakh 9 thousand 773 vaccines have been installed till the 70th day of corona vaccination. A total of 26 lakh 5 thousand vaccines were installed on the previous day. The campaign to give the second dose of the vaccine started on 13 February. From April 1, all people above 45 years of age will be vaccinated.

Most cases of coronavirus are being reported daily in Maharashtra. There were 36 thousand 902 new cases of corona in the state yesterday. At the same time, 112 people died yesterday. However, 17,019 people have been recovered by defeating this epidemic. There have been 26 lakh 37 thousand 735 case reports of Corona so far in the state. Of these, 53 thousand 907 people have lost their lives. Whereas two lakh 82 thousand 451 people are undergoing treatment. So far 23 lakh people have been cured in the state.
