So far, 81,37,119 people have been infected by the virus in the country. According to the data released by the ministry, 74,32,829 patients in the country have defeated the virus and returned home from the hospital after treatment. 59,454 patients have recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases in the country continues to decline.

According to the ministry's data, the number of active cases in the country has remained below six lakhs for several consecutive days. Currently, the number of active cases in the country is 5,82,649, a decrease of 11,737 in the last 24 hours.1,21,641 people in the country have lost their lives due to coronavirus infection.
