New Delhi: The pace of coronavirus in the country is constantly slowing down. The latest data showed that 6,396 new cases of infection have been reported within a day. After this, the total number of corona cases has reached 4,29,51,556. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the active cases of Corona have now come down to 69,897. 

In the last 24 hours, 201 patients have lost their lives due to the virus. With this, the total death toll has reached 5,14,589 and for 25 days in a row, India has been recording less than one lakh COVID-19 cases every day. During this period, 13,450 people have also recovered. The total number of recoveries in the country has now reached 4,23,67,070. The total vaccination is 1,78,29,13,060. 

According to the government, the daily cases of coronavirus have now come down to less than 10,000. Health Joint Secretary Lav Agarwal said on Thursday that globally, more than 15 lakh cases have been reported in the last week. At the same time, more than three lakh cases were being reported every day in the month of January in India. Now, this figure has come down on an average of 96.4 per cent to 11,000 cases in a week.
