Lowest corona case registered in the country after 61 days, death toll also decreased

New Delhi: The second wave of the deadly corona virus in the country now seems to be weakening. One lakh 636 new corona cases have been registered in the country in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, 2427 people have died in the last 24 hours. However, yesterday, one lakh 74 thousand 399 people have also recovered.

The Health Ministry has reported that new corona virus cases in India have been the lowest  after 61 days. Earlier, the lowest number of cases were registered on April 7, when more than one lakh 15 thousand cases were reported in a day. The Health Ministry has informed that the daily positivity rate in the country has now gone up to 6.34 per cent. At the same time, vaccination against corona in the country is also continuing rapidly.

In the last 24 hours, 13 lakh 90 thousand 916 doses of corona virus vaccine have been administered in the country, taking the total immunization figure to 232.7 7 86 lakh 482. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has informed that 15 lakh 87 thousand 589 samples of corona virus have been tested in India yesterday. A total of 366.3 million 34 thousand 111 sample tests have been conducted till yesterday.
