With this, the figure of new cases in Maharashtra has seen an increase of 30 per cent. A total of 23, 70, 507 cases have been reported from the state so far. From 1st March to 17th March, the new corona cases have increased 4 times. According to a report received, the new cases coming from some districts of Maharashtra were more than states like Punjab, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
In addition to Maharashtra, there are many states where most new cases were registered on Wednesday as compared to January. These include several states like Punjab, Karnataka, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan. Health Ministry secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that in the last 2 weeks, the new corona cases have increased by 43 per cent and death cases have increased by 37 per cent. 60% of active cases in Maharashtra are concentrated. 45 per cent of the new death is concentrated. On March 1, Maharashtra had a positive rate of about 11 per cent, which has now risen to more than 16 per cent.
