India: CORONA cases recovery rate improves to 90.80 per cent

New Delhi: The second wave of corona is now receding. The more corona cases rose in the past month, the faster the month is coming down. After the peak on 8th May, new cases coming daily in just three weeks have registered a decline of 50 per cent. In fact, there was a decline of about 2 lakh cases last Saturday, after which the figure reached 1, 95,183, which is 50 per cent of the 3,91,263 cases at peak.

At the same time, the decline came at half-time as compared to the first wave. If you remember, the cases of corona had come down in the first wave till October 30, but now the second wave has come down at the end of May. But yes, the number of deaths has not come down so fast so far, but the cases of death are on the rise. Looking at the average of the last 7 days, the number of deaths has come down by 18 per cent since peak. On the other hand, according to data released by the Union Health Ministry, there is a trend of 1.73 lakh decline in new cases every day in the country. Active cases have declined by 1,14,428 in the last 24 hours.

In addition, the total number of active cases has come down to 22,28,724. Let us also inform you that 2,84,601 patients have recovered during the last 24 hours and since then the number of patients recovering from corona virus infection in the country has increased to 2,51,78,011. The national recovery rate is at 90.80 per cent.
