On the second day of the Asian Track Cycling Championships at the IG Stadium on Sunday, India won one gold, three silver and four bronze medals. In the senior individual category, Vishwajeet Singh and Mayuri Dhanraj Lute have also won bronze medals. Vishwajeet and Mayuri have won medals in the individual event for the first time in the senior section of the Asian Championships.

Vishwajeet also won the bronze medal in the individual pursuit category by completing the 4 km race in 9 minutes. In the qualifying round, Vishwajeet went past his rival Kiaat Chan of Malaysia. In the final, he has outperformed the Malaysian rider in his best performance. The gold in this category has been won by Shoi Matsuda of Japan and the silver by Sangon Park of Korea.

Medal for Mayuri on the second day as well: Let us tell you that Mayuri has won the medal for the second day in a row. He won the bronze medal in the 500m time trial event. Mayuri had won the bronze medal in the team category on Saturday. This is Mayuri's first medal in the individual senior category. Mayuri completed her race at a speed of 49.340 kmph in 36.481 seconds.

Malaysia's Nurul Ijah Mohamed Asri was first and Korea's Bomi Kim was second. After winning the medal, Mayuri said, "It's a big day for my career." It was long awaited.

Jyoti won the gold: India's Jyoti Gadraya has won the gold medal in the Para Women's Individual Pursuit event. India's Geeta Rao won the silver medal. Jyoti completed the race in 5 minutes 24.990 seconds. India's Arshad Sheikh has also won a bronze medal in the Para Men's 4 km Individual Pursuit event.
