New Delhi: After the Government of India removed Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan began to internationalize the issue. But Pakistan did not get the expected success anywhere. India has kept its stand clear on this issue from the beginning. India has strongly criticized Turkey and Malaysia's statements on the UNGA Kashmir issue. Foreign Ministry spokesman Ravish Kumar, while addressing journalists, rubbished the statements made by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohammad on Kashmir. Kumar said that India's recent decision to remove Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir is an internal matter of the country.

India called on Turkey and said that Turkey needs to increase its understanding of the situation in Kashmir before speaking anything further on this issue. This is a completely internal matter for India. Indian spokesperson said that "Malaysia should also keep friendly relations in mind before saying anything and avoid such rhetoric". When Pakistan PM Imran Khan marched people towards the LoC, Ravish Kumar said that "Imran Khan also used provocative and irresponsible statements in UNGA. I think he does not know how to conduct international relations. The most serious thing is that he gave an open call for jihad against India which is not normal". In UNGA, two Islamic nations Turkey and Malaysia raised the Kashmir issue.
