Kolkata: Indian Air Force has taken a major step amid the challenge from China on the border. The Second Squadron of the Rafale fighter jet has been officially deployed at the Eastern Air Command in Hasimara, West Bengal on Wednesday. The process was completed at Hasimara on Wednesday under the leadership of Air Force Chief RKS Bhadauria during which the Rafale fighter jet was saluted. Meanwhile, the Air Chief said that Rafale has been deployed here to strengthen the Eastern Sector, which is very sensitive.

Tell you that the combined 101 squadron from Rafale fighter jet is the second such squadron. The squadron in the Air Force started on May 1, 1949. In which Harvard, The Spitfire, Vampire, Su-7, MiG-21M have been there and now it is the turn of the Rafale jet. Rafael's first squadron is posted in Ambala, which recently patrolled other areas of LAC, including Ladakh. Now the second squadron has been deployed in Hasimara, which will stand ahead of Bengal to take on China on the northeast border.

Let's say that India is fully prepared and responding with an eye-to-eye approach to the way China has been aggressive on the border. Now the deployment of Rafale jets in Hasimara will benefit the most on the northeast border, where China has always had audacity around Arunachal Pradesh.
