Islamabad: What Pakistan defeated India in a T20 World Cup match is not going to end with provocative and bizarre statements from the neighbouring country. Former pacer Waqar Younis had even said that the way opening batsman Mohammad Rizwan 'offered prayers on the ground among Hindus' is very special.  Shoaib Akhtar, who holds the record for the fastest ball in the history of world cricket, was also included in the same debate on the 'ARY News' channel.

Talking to Indian media, journalist Kashif Abbasi said that India's fast bowlers are often compared to Pakistani fast bowlers, but thankfully no one from there said that our bowler can bowl faster than Shoaib Akhtar. Abbasi further said that there is no comparison between Australia's Brett Lee-Glenn Magrath, PAK's Waqar Younis-Wasim Akram and West Indies' Curtly Ambrose-Courtney Walsh's fast bowler pairs.

He said former Australia captain Ricky Ponting is one of the best-playing batsmen to bowl fast and had once said that he had never seen a pacer like Shoaib Akhtar. Shoaib Akhtar said that fast bowlers like Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis and him (Akhtar) come once in 200 years. He said India has never had such good fast bowlers. He praised Mohammed Shami and said that Indian bowlers do not have the ability to bowl so fast.
