India India has dropped six positions from 97 and is currently placed at 103 in the latest rankings and with this slip it crashed out of top 100 of FIFA rankings for the first time since February 15, 2018, after a substandard performance in the AFC Asian Cup.

Iran who reached the semi-finals of the Cup also observed a jump of seven places to 22nd remaining the top-ranked Asian side in the world. There were some significant changes in other teams rankings which saw these four nations - Japan(27th, jump-23), South Korea(38th, jump-15), UAE(67th, jump-12), Jordan(97th, jump-12) make a double-digit jump.
