India India has dropped six positions from 97 and is currently placed at 103 in the latest rankings and with this slip it  crashed out of top 100 of FIFA rankings for the first time since February 15, 2018, after a substandard performance in the AFC Asian Cup.

After a poor performance in their recent outing in the continental tournament, India started off with a flyer beating Thailand 4-1 in a shocking upset to everyone's expectations but all went downhill since that.  Even In their next match against UAE,  team suufer defeat by host nation by a deficit of two goals. In the last match india suffer defeat and  were knocked out of the AFC Asian Cup in the group stages. Iran who reached the semi-finals of the Cup also observed a jump of seven places to 22nd remaining the top-ranked Asian side in the world. There were some significant changes in other teams rankings which saw these four nations - Japan(27th, jump-23), South Korea(38th, jump-15), UAE(67th, jump-12), Jordan(97th, jump-12) make a double-digit jump.
