This vaccine will be administered to people 12 years of age and above. However, in India, it will be given to people above 18 years of age. The special thing about this vaccine is that no needle will be used in it. That is, this vaccine is a needle free vaccine. It will be given without a needle. Along with this, this vaccine is of three doses, which makes it different from other vaccines.

Zydus Cadila's vaccine ZyCov-D was approved by the Modi government in August last year itself. However, till now this vaccine was not used. Let us inform that Jaykov-D is the world's first DNA-based vaccine. All the vaccines available so far use mRNA, but they use plasmid-DNA. It is easier to maintain than other vaccines. It can be stored for a long time at 2 to 8 °C. Not only this, it can be kept for 4 months even in 25 degree Celsius temperature.

Let us tell you that three doses of this vaccine will be given with an interval of 28-28 days. After the first dose, the second dose will be administered after 28 days and the third dose will be given after 56 days. The central government had ordered 1 crore doses of this vaccine. The company has started its supply. This vaccine will now be given free of cost by the government.
