This time the stadium is just going to change. In fact, Test cricket is going to be held in the city in the coming days. Lucknow's Atal Bihari Vajpayee Cricket Stadium can be seen hosting a Test match. In addition, efforts are being made to make Lucknow a new destination for the thrill of IPL. BCCI is preparing to implement both these aspects on its own.

According to media reports, a Test match can be played in Lucknow when the New Zealand team is scheduled to tour India after the T20 World Cup. The Test match is scheduled to be played at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Stadium, which has a spectator capacity of 70,000. This will be the first time since the World Test Championship that India and New Zealand will be seen clashing in Test cricket.

Test cricket returning to Lucknow after 28 years: According to media reports, if Lucknow gets to host the India - New Zealand Test match, it is going to be like a gift it has received after 28 years. The last Test match between India and Sri Lanka was played at the KD Singh Babu Stadium in Lucknow in January 1994, which was also the only Test played in the city. According to the report, BCCI has also finalized the venue for the 2 Tests against New Zealand. The first Test is scheduled to be played in Lucknow and the second at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
