New Delhi: German luxury automaker BMW has unveiled its flagship models 7 Series and i7 in the Indian market. 1.7 crore and Rs. 1.95 crore, respectively (all prices, ex-showroom).

The ICE-powered and all-electric sedan was unveiled at the ongoing Joytown show in Mumbai at the Bandra-Kurla Complex Grounds. Premium Car order books are now available.

To celebrate the successful running of the Joytown show on our soil, BMW started organizing events across several major Indian cities.

These events serve as both a showcase for the brand's innovation and a springboard for its new products. The flagship sedans in the ICE and EV lineup are the 7 Series and the i7, respectively.

The 2023 BMW 7 Series is distinguished by its chiseled hood, wide kidney grille, adaptive LED headlights, flush-mounted door handles with capacitive buttons, and wraparound LED taillamps.

It features a five-seater, luxurious interiors, multi-colour ambient lighting, 12.3-inch instrument cluster, 14.9-inch infotainment system and a 31.3-inch 8K screen on the roof, with full-width light bands on the dashboard. ,

The 2023 BMW 7 Series is powered by two engines: a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six engine mated to a 48V mild-hybrid system (375 hp / 519.2Nm), and a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine with a mild- Is. Hybrid setup (536 hp/749.7Nm). Eight-speed automatic transmissions are mated to both mills.

The BMW i7 gets designer wheels, a sculpted bonnet, an illuminated kidney grille, crystal LED headlights with DRLs, and wrap-around LED taillights.

On the inside, it features a five-seat cabin with futuristic design, premium leather upholstery, reclining rear seats with massage feature, roof-mounted 31.3-inch 8K screen, infotainment panel with iDrive 8, a "Panoramic Sky Lounge" LED display, and more. roof, and several ADAS features.

A large 101.7kWh battery pack and two electric motors power the BMW i7. The system produces 536 hp and 744.3 Nm. On the WLTP cycle, the electric sedan has a claimed range of up to 625 kms.

The brand new i7 will cost you Rs. 1.95 crore in India, while the 2023 BMW 7 Series can be yours at a starting price of Rs. 1.7 crore (all prices, ex-showroom). Both the sedans have open order books.

The former travels through the Completely Knocked Down (CKD) route to reach our shores, while the latter arrives as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).
