New Delhi: After a long gap of two and a half years, the ice in diplomatic relations between India and Pakistan seems to be melting slightly. In fact, the two neighboring countries have issued visas to each other's diplomats after a long period of 28 months. According to media reports, India and Pakistan have issued visas on all applications submitted till March 15, 2021.

A total of 8 diplomats from Pakistan have been issued visas by India, while Pakistan has issued visas to 33 Indian officers. According to media reports, the two countries will also issue visas to more diplomats in the coming days. Some reports claimed that India and Pakistan were holding diplomatic talks with the backchannel in Dubai. The two armies had also announced a ceasefire in February this year.

Tell you that relations between India and Pakistan deteriorated after the 2019 terror attack in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir. 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were killed in the attack. The fidayeen attacker had hit the bus with an explosive-laden vehicle. The bus was part of a 78-bus convoy from which 2500 jawans were traveling from Jammu to Srinagar.
