The new case of daily covid infection is on the rise and new records are also being created. Coming to the last 24 hours, a record 3,86,854 new cases have been heard. Since the covid epidemic has spread, not many cases have been reported in a day so far. Earlier, the highest number of 3.79 lakh patients were identified on April 28.
Corona death toll also in rise: It has been revealed that the number of people dying due to covid infection is also on the rise. More than 3000 people have lost their lives continuously in the last three years. There are 31 lakh 64 thousand 825 active cases in the country and India is now second in the world due to increasing covid cases. The US currently has the highest number of 6.8 million active cases.
The number of patients recovering also increased: In the meantime, the news of relief is that the number of recoverers of covid infection has crossed 1.5 crore in India. More than 15 million 78 thousand people have recovered in the country so far. A record 2.70 lakh people have recovered in the last one day.
Maharashtra has the highest number of corona deaths: According to reports, 66,159 new cases of covid virus infection were reported in Maharashtra on Thursday and 771 patients have lost their lives. The total number of infected people in Maharashtra has increased to 45,39,553 while the total death toll has gone up to 67,985.
West Bengal has the highest number of deaths in a day: The highest number of 89 patients have died in a day due to covid virus in West Bengal on Thursday, taking the death toll to 11,248 in the state. In West Bengal, the total number of cases has gone up to 8,10,955 after 17,403 new patients were confirmed in the last 24 hours. 1,10,241 patients are undergoing treatment for infection in the state while 12,885 patients have recovered from the infection since Wednesday.
