New Delhi: The UK has implemented strict rules on people coming to India under the new rules. 700 people who made a landing at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport on Monday have been sent in 10 days of mandatory quarantine. Earlier, all these passengers also got an RTPCR test. The new rules have been announced by the Government of India recently.

Under the new rules, passengers coming from the UK will have to remain in a mandatory quarantine for 10 days. The new rules have also been implemented from 12 pm onwards on Sunday night. A senior government official said that three flights from the UK have reached the airport IGI Monday afternoon. Out of these, 700 passengers have landed. Apart from Indians, there are a large number of British citizens. According to the new rules, it will be mandatory for passengers coming from the UK to submit a negative report of the RTPCR as soon as they arrive in India.

At the same time, there will be a one-time test at the airport. Not only this, once the 10-day quarantine time is over, the RTPCR test will have to be conducted once again. The official said, "A Delhi government team has been deployed at the airport for the entire process. The team takes details from the passengers about their addresses etc.''
