New Delhi: After winning the Test series 2-0 against Bangladesh, the Indian team also won the T20 series 3-0. In the third T20 match played on Dussehra day (12 October) in Hyderabad, India scored its highest ever score in this format. In this victory, the team made many records, although they fell short of some records.

In the match, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and decided to bat first. The Indian team scored 297 runs, which is not only Team India's highest score in T20, but also the highest score in T20 of any Test playing country. Indian players hit a total of 22 sixes in this match. Sanju Samson scored the highest 111 runs (47 balls) for the Indian team. Apart from him, Suryakumar Yadav (75 runs, 45 balls), Hardik Pandya (47 runs, 18 balls) and Riyan Parag (34 runs, 13 balls) also played brilliant innings, which helped Team India to set this huge score. In response, the Bangladesh team was able to score only 164/7 in 20 overs. Tauheed Hridoy scored the highest 62 runs for Bangladesh. Ravi Bishnoi performed brilliantly for India, taking 3 wickets and also completed 50 wickets in his T20 career.

India's score in this match was close to breaking the highest T20 score made by Nepal, but due to the fall of wickets in the last overs, the team remained a little away from this target. Sanju Samson hit 5 consecutive sixes in the same over in this match and completed his first T20 International century in 40 balls. This is the second fastest century in T20 International by an Indian. The record for the fastest T20 International century for India is held by Rohit Sharma, who scored a century in 35 balls against Sri Lanka in 2017.

Apart from this, Sanju Samson has become the first Indian wicketkeeper to score a century in T20 International. Earlier, even great wicketkeepers like MS Dhoni and Rishabh Pant could not achieve this feat.
