New Delhi: A rank is issued in the world called Ease of Doing Business in which countries of the world are ranked according to their business environment. This ranking is considered to have great influence among the business groups of the world. NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant said that he wants to include the country in the top 50 countries in the world in the Ease of Doing Business rank in the next two years. After this, the government will aim to join the top 25 countries in the next five years.
The CEO of NITI Aayog was speaking on the occasion of releasing the Ease of Doing Business report prepared by the 'First India Foundation'. He said that India is currently undergoing a demographic transition, so fast growth is important. Kant said that we need to raise our large population above the poverty line, so trade has to be made easier.
We have done better work in this subject in the last few years, during which 1,300 waste laws have already been removed. Speaking on Digital India, he said that digitization is necessary to increase growth. Keeping this in mind, we have focused on digitalizing every sector of the economy in the last five years. An attempt has been made to prevent non-essential human intervention, due to which India's rank in Ease of Doing Business has improved. India has risen 23 places in the Ease of Doing Business ranking released this year by the World Bank.
