India is preparing to share a list of gangsters hiding in the United States with the US government. This will be done during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming visit to the US. The visit marks his first trip to the country since Donald Trump returned as President.

The list has been compiled by India’s top security agencies, following instructions from the Ministry of Home Affairs. Sources say the list includes notorious criminals like Goldy Brar and Anmol Bishnoi. Both are linked to serious organized crime in India.

While India’s security agencies already track criminals hiding abroad, they were recently asked to focus on those living in the US. The list includes gangsters like Goldy Brar, Anmol Bishnoi, Darman Kahlon, Amritpal Singh, Harjot Singh, and others.

Anmol Bishnoi is the brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. He is accused of planning the murder of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique. He was arrested in the US last November for using fake documents and has been in prison since. A Mumbai court issued arrest warrants for him in connection with Siddique’s murder.

Goldy Brar is the person behind the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. He is a member of the Bishnoi gang and has been living in the US after moving there in 2017 on a student visa.

Darman Kahlon, another gangster on the list, is also connected to Sidhu Moosewala's killing and is accused of providing weapons to criminals. He has links with pro-Khalistani terrorists in the US and Canada and was detained in the US in August 2023.

PM Modi’s visit will also include discussions with President Trump on topics like trade, defense, and nuclear energy cooperation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is meeting U.S President Donald Trump for the first time since Trump's second term began in January. The meeting expects that important defence agreements between India and the United may also be finalized during Modi's visit. Modi is scheduled to have several meetings, including bilateral talks in Washington DC.
