New Delhi: Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar and his companion James Norman Mattis talked about tie defense services of India and United State on Wednesday evening. 

As per the resource, Manohar and Mattis were having a telephonic conversation, in which Mattis said, "committed to building upon the tremendous progress in bilateral defense cooperation+ made in recent years, underscoring the strategic importance of the US-India relationship and India's role in advancing global peace and security." 

Both of them discussed to expand the partnership, as it would be the great way to empower both countries' Army. An official said that "The military connect is already in place, we are waiting for the political connect to flesh out. Discussions will broaden after more political appointees join the US department of defense."
