India suffered an embarrassing defeat by an inning and 159 runs in the second test. Due to this massive defeat, people started questioning the ability of the Indian cricket team. In this situation, former batsman VVS Laxman came to support the team India.

According to The former batsman, after excellent commitment at Edgbaston, the lack of fight at the ground of Lord’s. England did have the better of conditions but they also made the most of the assistance they received, while India caved in meekly, especially in the batting department.
