Ind Vs SL: Series decider match between India and Sri Lanka today

Colombo: Team India will play tonight in the decisive match of the three-match T20 series in Sri Lanka. The Indian team, which won the first match of the series and took a 1-0 lead, suffered a setback in the second match. The hosts won the second match last night by 4 wickets to level the series at 1-1. Batting first, India scored 132 runs, in reply, Sri Lanka lost 6 wickets in 19.4 overs to register their victory.

India and Sri Lanka will take to the field tonight with the intention of capturing the series. Within 4 hours, the two teams will face each other once again. The second match was postponed for a day as Indian all-rounder Krunal Pandya was corona positive. 8 Indian players who came in contact with Krunal were also isolated. Due to which India had to make major changes in the playing XI.

In the second T20I, four players including Devdutt Padikkal, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Nitish Rana, Chetan Sakaria made their debut for India. The match did not go well for India as the team failed to score a good score and then there was disappointment in bowling as well. Devdutt, Ruturaj, Nitish could not contribute much with their bat for the team, their performance in the first match was disappointing.
